Music comes from musicians. A great DJ is indispensible – to help plan your party, to keep your reception on track and to bring the late-night beats like only a great DJ can. But if you want something special, you want something more than pre-recorded music. You want someone playing just for you.
If you want live music but don’t need a dance band, the “DJ Plus” approach is your solution. You get our usual high standard of DJ and MC service throughout your Chicago-area reception – but we add one or more live musicians to play during cocktail hour, dinner hour, or both.
Our most popular DJ Plus receptions involve a jazz trio during cocktails, solo piano during dinner and DJ music for all dancing. String trios and quartets are also popular, and other choices like guitar, harp and hammered dulcimer are available on a more limited basis.
